Restrictions lifted across Tennessee amid continued COVID-19 case rise
The state no longer has restrictions on businesses or gatherings in 89 Tennessee counties, and the Governor has urged the other six counties to follow suit. This comes as the state sees its highest monthly death toll yet, 700 in September.
“One of the things I’m worried about is that our businesses aren’t operating fully and unrestricted because that drives economic recovery and people’s livelihoods are at stake here,” Governor Lee said to reporters.
